Ian Nicholas
IAN NICHOLAS is a self taught artist, born and raised in London, England. He worked in several mediums including oil, watercolor, pastel and acrylic. His lifelong fascination with portraiture and figure drawing led to a large series of self-portraits rendered in oils. The recurrent these throughout all of his work is the human condition: "I think it's important to be autobiographical. I'm simply attempting to capture on canvas and paper the emotions and moods I'm feeling right now." Ian currently works and lives out of his studio in Atlanta, Georgia.
