Bountiful Baskets

BOUNTIFUL BASKETS are hand woven in Montana by Mary and Byron Bonney. They can be used as decorative pieces with flower arrangements or can set alone . In 1983, Mary started weaving baskets as a hobby. She started designing and making antler baskets in 1991 using a variety of antlers such as mule deer, whitetail deer, black tail deer, elk and moose. These hand crafted custom-made baskets are quite unique, as each basket is designed and woven around each individual antler. No two baskets are the same. Natural colors of antlers range from white/weathered to gray to brown/tan in color. These antlers are naturally shed by these big game animals every year. Byron spends a lot of time hiking time hiking the mountains and canyons of North Central Idaho in search of these shed antlers.
